Yes, '69 would have been Savanna Beige. I wrote the owner asking him about a number of things, but he only answered that the car originally came from Canada. Thanks to the rest of you for explaining what the extra plumbing was for. In my whole life I've only ever seen one type 3 with a gas heater, and that was a '71 from Minnesota, probably 20 years ago. The owner also said that the notch was "probably sold."
