[T3] '67 rear door hinge, finished.

<x-flowed>
Well, my '67 square had a bad hinge making it impossible to close the door without doing
some screwdriver trickery on the torsion bars, and even then It wouldn't align enough
to latch.

A while back I ordered the hinge from Jim Adney,

and got all the advise about the special tool, and the danger of trying to do this job.
I got the same advice from my mechanic.

I took it to the only body guys I've ever trusted, and they told me they wouldn't work on the
old cars anymore. That all his old employees had been replaced with young guys, and they couldn't
do the work on the old cars.

I hung around, and kept talking to him, though, and kept asking him what he thought I should do.
Eventually he agreed to do the job. He seemed very familiar with the repair, sounded like he'lld done them back when they were newer. So I guess it's common for the pins in those hinges to wear out.
He also kept talking about wether or not he would be able to find his special tool.

He called in some ex employee on the weekend, who also had the special tool,
and now. I can close my rear hatch. And I can finally accelerate without it flying open. *grin*

yea!  one step closer.

thanks for the part jim.
