Yeah, I noticed it, too.  ;-p

Beautiful little animation: I even copied it for future use and wondered how 
one could make a type 3 version and correct that error. I noticed also that the 
valves & rockers move, but the pushrods and lifters don't. It also looks like 
there is a cam lobe there that should be going around but isn't.

Of course the artist could always claim that the two cutaway sides of the 
engine were cut to different depths (which they have to be anyway) but I would 
still argue that this animation gives the wrong impression.
