IIRC, copyright in the US is now for the life of the author plus 70 years, unless the work was published before 1923(?). Or unless the author has put the works into the public domain. Copyrights tend to get longer and longer due to the influence of the *IAAs and companies like Disney that want royalties to last forever.

So like the guys who burn copies of warez and try to sell it on Ebay, this is likely illegal.

Anyhow, manuals on disc?  Good way to get a greasy laptop.  :)
