Yep. It's me. I would have replied earlier, but vacation got in the way ;~) Just got back about two hours ago. I went down to SoCal and didn't see a single air cooled VW there. The only air cooled car I saw was a Squareback in Provo, UT. Yeah, the tach's are all mine. I have cornered the market. I had a little extra money burning a hole in my pocket for a couple years so I went searching. They pop up occasionally on eBay, mostly eBay Germany. It helps if you can speak a little German, or at least know how to use a translator. I haven't bought any tachometers for a couple years now. I've got a little too much going on, so Type 3's are sort of taking a back seat to my other work. The trouble with working for yourself is that you have to do all the work. I do have a couple of extra Weigand tachometers if anyone is interested: http://neil.us/type3/tach/weigand01-a.jpg NOS in the box for $100 plus shipping. There was just sold in the classifieds on TheSamba.com as well. They are uncommon. -- Everett Barnes http://www.thesamba.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
