There are 2 screws in the forward edge of the late dash, one at each end. I'm pretty sure there were more in the earlier years, but that doesn't change the fact that I missed those 2. > So the screws are hidden behind the chrome trim? The dash chrome is attached slightly differently, but you remove it by just pulling it straight out perpendicular to the surface. The retaining clips will come out with the trim. Once the trim is gone you'll find a number of screws that were hidden under there. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
