>Get a new Bosch 30-019 VR. Thanks Jim. While buying the VR (above $26.23), I remembered my gen. brushes were "low", so I spent $2.50 as backup. I've been keeping my eye on them since I bought the car 8 years ago, but hadn't looked in awhile. Sure enough they were down to the pigtails. I replaced them right there in the parking lot, and driving to work the clicking and light are gone! Is the VR still on it's way out? Otherwise I've now got a spare VR. As a side note, I know that a lot of listees spend a lot of time and money getting their cars into working condition. I'm want to remind those folks that once you get there, these cars are extremely robust and low cost to operate. Other than a few quarts of oil, I'm now out $14.50 for the last 15k miles/two years maintenance! Of course I just jinxed myself...
