There are many penetrations below the sill line: bright trim holes, cable tubes, shifter linkage access plates, pan drains, etc. Most of these were sealed when the car was new, and most of those seals are more or less shot now. So, yes, some.

But we don't often hear of a lot of water coming into the cabin all at once. That tells me you've probably got body rot someplace you can't easily see, likely in a wheel well or two. Ride through an automated car wash with underbody sprayers, or set a buddy to work with a pressure washer, and be ready to get under the dash with a flashlight. You'll find it.
