If your ring gear is bad it can be machined off and replaced. This is also a reasonable way to convert a flywheel to a different starter pinion. Just what is it that you're looking for? Is it a 200mm, 6V, non-O-ring flywheel? I think those are going to be hard to find, but would you consider converting to 12V and an O-ring flywheel/crank? That would simplify this search a LOT. I have lots of the late parts. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
