14 brake light switches... mostly old but good ones. All died on the Notch with the DOT5... the NEW ones would last a month, the old ones maybe 3 or 4 (and I dont drive that car much) Ive NEVER changed one in 16 years on the 71 which is still DOT 3. I finally installed a mechanical switch but I dissected the the last hydro switch that died and it appeared the the plastic that held the ball bearing swelled and stuck the bearing. They all failed the same way, took progressively more pressure to get the switch to close till finally it wouldnt. Keith > À!? I've got DOT 5 in my baby. No issues so far.
