Folks, I'm back on the list after transferring overseas to Japan. My '68 is sitting on base waiting for me to register and get it on the road. I believe I've found a very good body man very near our house who can smooth some wrinkles for me and get some fresh paint on it to make it look new again. This after running into a local Japanese gentleman driving a cherry '66 beige Squareback who recommended him. You should see the nice job he did sewing up a leather dash cover for his car. Looks nice. I would still like to find a left rear fender to save a bit of money on metal bending, though. Even though I'm in Japan, shipping to me is like sending to California. Any available? He asks that I order my own molding, headliner, etc., for him to put the car back together while I'm out to sea. I would sure like some recommendations as to the best quality replacements for those items. I'd like to fix some of my chrome, as well. Am I better off replacing the existing, or sending originals off for re-chroming? Thanks, and I'm looking forward to learning more from you guys again.
