I actually prefer to do the removal and reinstall myself. Well, I wouldn't mind if my rebuild sans R/R was going to cost *less* than yours, of course. I just prefer to do as much as I can myself, and it will be a good opportunity to clean things up in the engine bay, make some adjustments to the thermostat linkage, etc.
