Re: [T3] productive time...update

<x-flowed>Good suggestion for tubing replacement, I'll have to remember that one.

I have the DDB door seals on my baby and they work GREAT! Only bad part is that the seal only seals the sides and top, not the bottom. That has not been an issue for me. Technically, you could remove the aluminum door sill and put the seal along the bottom as well, thus giving a total seal. Makes closing the door a bit more of a push but it is doable (I tried it).

I used a generic weather striping for my back hatch along with black RTV (silicone sealant).

...When doing this tubing replacement I found the best thing to do is dip the end in a mug of hot/boiling water. Hold it there for a little while(at least 15 seconds, depending on tube thickness) and then the end becomes much more flexible, and will stretch over larger tubes more easily. This way the stuff that looks "way too small" actually works quite well.

I took the car to the car wash-I got no leaks from the front, I still get
some leaking at the top of both doors. I think I'm going to try that DDB
gasket that goes on the body, instead of the door. a lot cheaper than the
original. Anyone got experience with that? I also get leaking at the rear
hatch...where can I get a new rear hatch seal?
