74-xx VW 411/412 They used a air bellows setup along the lines of our 
type3's It brought in cool air to be used to cool the engine except it 
was used on the type4 engine in the 411/412 VW's.  Dave Hall  or  some 
folks may  be able to give you the years the type 4 VWs were produced.  
The cooling setup can be hard to find... I don't want to use the "RARE" 
word as that implies $$$. I was just lucky to meet a guy via the 
internet at the right time, and right place and bought it for what I 
thought was a fair price $50.00.  I wish I would have had a way to have 
got all the type 4 parts they had.. Good luck on your quest... but I am 
keeping mine. 8>(
