<x-flowed>This is only partially correct. The Auto Union consisted of Audi, DKW, Horch 
and Wanderer. Audi and Horch were founded by the same person - August Horch, 
at different times. He was unable to use his own name for the second company 
he founded, so he called it Audi - the Latin version of his name, which 
means "listen" in German (=English "hark").
