[T3] Charging Help.

my '67 square, has not been charging properly since I got it.

The generator light is on at idle and low - medium rpm.

Doing the generator check ( grounding DF terminal, and checking the 
generator output )
I got only a few volts output, and at higher rpm I got around 15-20v

The generator looks new, and the top brush _looks_ ok, the bottom brush 
_feels_ ok.
so I'lld like to be sure it's bad before replacing it.

I've yet to take the generator out, and look further, as I don't have 
any wrenches that
fit yet.

Any advice on what further to inspect?
Any advice on taking out the generator and avoiding common mistakes.

so, I put the charger on my '72 since I haven't managed to drive it in 
4 months.
