It joins the FI wiring harness on the left side. There should be a single wire 
coming out of there with a plastic shield over it.

You can just leave it disconnected. It is closed. You still have to make sure 
that you have the wires to the starter on the right terminals.

Yes, right. That was for the decel valve. You can use that, or just block it

It's in all the manuals. I can never remember it either so I have to look there 
every time. If you get it turned around it really doesn't make much difference 
except at idle, but it's still best to get it right.
