Re: [T3] Distributor Drive Question

<x-flowed>Thanks Scott. I seem to forget to look at the designations to the right like Dave points out, 315, 311 ect. Right there as you said now that I look back.

Is anyone out there other than Russ running a ZV/JCU 4 R 3 on their dual carb motor? Or how about a ZV/PAU4R4 on a single carb motor

Jason

I used to own a 1965 1500S with the M249 low compression option and it had the "S" distributor (311 905 205 E), so I'm sure '64s with M249 got the ZV/JCU 4 R 3 rather than the ZV/JU 4 R 3.

Yes, the lower spec 1500N models were 315 - 318 and 365 - 368 while the 1500S
went into 311 - 314 and 361 - 364.
There's no info in the parts book about which the lower compression M249 models
had.

Early T3s engine # 1-255399 used ZV/PAU4R4 and ZV/PAU4R6 dizzys. This
constitutes 61-63. Ive only seen R6s used and am going to search for an R4
for my collection (just to have).

The T1 ZV/JU 4R3 does look to be used on engine # 255340-633330. Not sure if
they were "N" aplication or not and or maybe low octane flat top dual carb
1500 motors.
