It carried on up into the FI distributors. I have seen it myself. Some
people say that it ended with the '71's, but I cannot confirm or deny
this.

Some of the T-3 distributors don't even have a VW number on them. Just
the Bosch number. Example: ZV/JCU 4 R 3. That is a '64 1500S
distributor.

I am sorry, but that is the only one I can find right now. 15 years or
so ago, I got rid of a bunch of stuff that I thought I would never have
a use for again. I am regretting it now.

Funny thing is, that VW recommends the timing 2.5 degrees if you
encounter pinging/detonation. About the same as what they retarded #3.
