I was talking with a librarian once, and she was saying that when 
Microfiche came out, libraries stopped saving back copies of 
newspapers, because now there was this awesome new storage mechanism, 
that would "last forever"

however now Microfiche is deteriorating, and some libraries are 
actually buying old collections of newspapers back from private 
collectors.

Anyone ever worry about transferring this old Microfiche type 3 info, 
to some other medium, to preserve it?
or is everyone's [ all three of you? ] Microfiche holding up?
