Re: [T3] Bosche distributor - which one is correct?

<x-flowed>If you're going to run dual Solex 32PDSIT carbs the best thing to do would be to find a 1500S distributor (311 905 205 D) or a 1600 non-FI distributor (311 905 205 E, F, or G). The vacuum advance characteristics of your 1500N distributors are unlikely to work well with dual Solexes.

Greetings

I have 2 very similar Bosch distributors, one of which I want to use on the rebuilt engine. According to our sources and our friends at <http://www.oldvolkshome.com/ovhignbo.htm > one distributor is for early 1965 1500N while the other is from late 1965 1500N. The engine case, thanks to <http://www.hallvw.clara.net/t3engnos.htm>, is a 1965 1500 single carb engine. I am putting stock dual carbs (thanks to John Jaranson) on this engine. Are there any real differences in these distributors and will it matter which one I use? Thanks.
