My breather hose is a cobble job from '97 or so, long before I learned of the list. I haven't bothered changing it out because it is intact and keeps gas in and water out.. It is crimped though, I guess that crimp is more severe than I thought. So the breather will help with the fill ups, and the vent will keep the tank at atmospheric pressure?
