And I quote from the Bentely:
"Installation is the revrse of removal, but note that a new paper gasket
must be used between the pulley and the fan. If there is also a shim,
remember to install it. Never fit more than two shims to correct the
pulley to housing clearance."
So, no shim can be correct, and 2 is max.
