> Regarding the Temp Sensor readings: I don't think they are explained clearly in Bentley. For reference, I use a D-Jet manual excerpt that I found on Toby E's website. "icbm.org" or something similar. Do a search on the site for "d-jet", and it should come up. > From: http://www.icbm.org/erkson/ttt/engine/fuel_injection/d-jet.html "If engine temperature is 68¡F (20¡C), air temperature sensor should have resistance of 260-340 ohms and engine temperature sensor should have resistance of 2100-3100 ohms." > The missing seal on your pressure sensor would make me wonder a bit, but only after making darn sure that everything else was in order. Especially regular ignition tune-up items. On your '69 you should have a pressure SWITCH (under right-hand-side intake runners). Is the hose between that and the intake manifold there and in good condition? > Yes, the pressure switch is there and the hose appears intact & tight. I have not replaced the hose. -- Everett Barnes http://www.thesamba.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
