Yes, Type 1 in a Type 1 is fine - don't waste time expecting it to work
comfortably in a Bus though!  Type 3 is good in temperate climates, but severe
cold weather and/or a lot of time at idle leaves it somewhat underheated, hence
the Canadian and Swedish Type 3s generally have Eberspachers.
