Interesting. Its been my experience when starting up anything that
fuel's been sitting in for at least a year that it'll have a very hard
time starting up, if at all, as if the fuel has gone stale- even with
fuel stabilizer. Putting fresh fuel in cures the problem.

I'll end up recycling these 7 gallons of fuel in my snowblower this
winter- from the looks of it, it seems that it's gonna be a snowy winter
here in New England. I'll make sure to filter it before putting it  in
my jerry can.

One interesting thing when I started the car up. Since I didn't have the
manual pump switch, I had to cycle the ignition key. The first 3 cycles
the pump made a loud noise, like it was running dry. After that, it
sounded like the pump was running and pushing fuel. Now, about how many
seconds does it take to pressurize the fuel loop?
