<x-flowed>Nope, just *years* of driving without one. From my observations, mud flaps only help keep the lower rear wings from getting sandblasted and keep the water mist down for drivers behind you. No negative effects.

Did you learn that on the trip to Canada, Toby?

Many cars have the wheels near the back corners - there's plenty of overhang on
the Type3, so maybe that helps.
I don't have mudflaps either; maybe they cause eddies on other cars.
