The parts that usually break are the small plastic pieces that mount to the steering wheel frame. The horn "button" is usually fine. The little plastic pieces are probably still available from VW, because they were used in lots of their cars, including all the beetles, from '72 on. They are relatively cheap and easy to install. Call your dealer and see what they say about this part #. I THINK this is the correct part #: 321 419 729. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
