Here's my two cents from someone coming from the land of -35C. In Canada I'm pretty sure that all the major chains add something to their gas in winter. You can read what Petro-Canada does here: http://www.petro-canada.ca/eng/prodserv/fuels/6823.htm No idea whether or not thats legitimate, or just marketing, but they all do it. Some stations here use ethanol as well, and I have to say that it is really good in helping to avoid gas line freezing. You heard me right, your gas lines freeze. Don't know if I get worse mileage with ethanol, as I only use it in winter when my mileage typically drops 30% anyway. In summer I use my Co-op and await my rebate check in the fall!
