I've actually got the type of roof rack you don't need to screw in at all, it has some clamps that grab the drip rail. I like this kind-as there is no chance of leaks under any screws. And yes I do use it-although not as much as my bus rack. I haul lumber on it, 2x4's.... I think it's great. It is all steel I believe. The only thing I don't like it the noise it makes while on the highway.
