Did the sleeve go on easily? Was there any trouble or was it easy? I've never 
used one, so I'd really like to know how heart-stopping this might be.

I REALLY like your lock. Could you have turned the drive plate 60 deg and 
engaged 2 holes in it?

Did you check the final drive gear oil level? Perhaps you did that earlier, but 
it's always a good idea to watch it, especially with an old car like this where 
you don't know how much it might leak.
