I had a similar issue with the cargo doors on my bus. I just put some 3 in 1 oil on the top of the hinge, and moved the door back and forth a few times. I did this every day, sometimes twice a day, for about 1-2 weeks. Eventually it worked it's way through. Now the door swings freely. It does take time and a lot of applications...
