[T3] Oregon: -1 Indiana: +1

<x-flowed>Well, Oregon has lost a really nice, 1972 yellow Squareback with a sun roof, perfect running stock FI engine, automatic tranny, and Western wheels :-( However, Indiana has gained it! :-)

I picked up Erin and her boyfriend, Will, at the airport this morn and took them to my house. I acquainted her with her "new" car and we took if for a 2 mile test drive. She was literally quivering with excitement! Got their backpacks and spare right front fender into the cargo area and they were off to the Oregon coast then up to the Olympic Park in Washington. From there they were going to camp their way across the U.S. to Indiana.

She followed my advice and purchased BOTH the Bentley shop manual AND the 1972 Owner's Manual. She did read the owner's manual to become more familiar with the car and I also gave her a tour of the car and let her operate everything (unlock doors & hatch, open hood, drop the back seat, operate the sun roof, etc.) so she could get a feel for a 33 year old car. It felt so good to know that my Canadian Type 3 was going to an enthusiastic and caring owner. Even my friend Brad commented on how genuinely exuberant she was.

It's was hard for me to do but the sale gained me two months on my mortgage so... Here they are right before they left:
