All stainless steel will rust...it is just a matter of how long until it rusts. Check out mcmaster.com, and do a search for "stainless steel", and click on "about stainless steel". I've got an older catalog with more/different info on stainless as well...it tells you which ones are magnetic, and which ones are not. Remember it is stainless steel, not stainproof steel.
