The AAR drops in as you say. You have to remove the front stud and replace it 
with the FI temp sensor, which then sticks down into the case.

There are 2 kinds of head temp sensors, depending on where yours is mounted. Is 
it underneath, next to the # 4 exhaust flange (where it originally was for 68-
9) or on top, next to the # 4 spark plug (the better location where it was 
installed from 70-on?) Replacement heads often came with both tapped holes.

I have ALL of these parts available.
