<x-flowed>OK guys, I am a VW newbie! What constitutes a "darkside" or "lightside" Volks?

I've mentioned before the 2275, in my '67 square was the first big motor i've ever had.

Today, I was moving it out of the driveway so my wife could go somewhere,
and I just followed her out of the neighborhood for the fun of it,
she stopped and asked how far I was going to follow her, but before
I could answer she challenged me to a race.

She and I have always thought our VR6 Jetta was pretty fast even though it's an automatic.

Needless to say, I beat her in a short dash or I wouldn't be telling this story.

She pulled up with her Jaw dropped, I'm pretty sure she thought she was going to beat me.
I asked her if she even tried, she said she had it floored.

heh. fun. fastest air cooled car I've ever been in. I guess the darkside is winning points with me.

[ but don't worry Jim, I still have my '72 FI square, which I also love. ]
