[T3] engine rebuild questions

<x-flowed>I am rebuilding my T3 engine from my dunebuggy and have a couple questions.

Please don't flame me for not being a purist.  Remember it is in a 
dunebuggy (my poor man's convertable), not a niceType 3 car.

What type of distributor is in the T3.  I have always had trouble getting 
points locally.  I was thinking of getting a Pertronix electronic ignition 
that goes in the distributor, but I was told the T3 distributor is 
different, and I needed one for that.  Any input here would be helpfull.


I am going to likely replace the carbs.  Mine need rebuilt, and I would need 
new intakes as well

   Can I sell my old ones very easily?  What kind of money could I get?
   I am thinking of going to dual Kadron's.  ANy concerns?
   Keep in mind, that I am also going from SP heads to DP heads, and to 
1776 disp.

I was going to ask about an alternator conversion, but that appears to be a 
well covered topic in recent posts.
