[T3] clock disassembly.

<x-flowed>

I'm taking apart an extra T3 clock I had,
for two reasons, one, I want to see how everything is layed out, and contemplate turning
it into a multi gauge of some sort and two, I thought I might just fix it.

I can't tell how to get the glass plate with the clock numbers printed on it out.
and the gear assembly still seems to be hanging on by the clock hands.

Do the clock hands just need to pulled straight outward and off?
mine don't seem to move that direction and I didn't want to apply to much force.

And does the glass plate with the numbers on it have any way of coming out?

I've managed to pop the posts of the gear housing out of their metal retaining clips that were
holding it to the can inside the can behind the clock glass, So I have to get it apart in order to put
it back together.

any experience here would be greatly appreciated.

p.s
I find it incredibly cool that the clock is just a windup clock that's wound up
by a motor every time it winds down. [ contacts close and the motor winds
it back up, opening the contacts. ]
