I put blocks under the vehicle and allowed the wheels to extend to the full range down. This will kill the rubber snubber on the front end. No replacements are available. Get the tires off the ground, but block the vehicle so the weight is still on the axle, not the frame. It also helps to keep the CV boots neutral as well. Since I have a roof rack, I attached PVC tubing to it to keep the tarps from touching the car. This helped quite a bit to keep moisture from accumulating anywhere. Apply some rubber preservative to the window rubber, like glycerin or a quality product (not Armor All). Mine is dried and cracking. Even apply it to the door seals, trunk, and engine seals.
