Are there rear disc brake kits for type 3? I called ISP west, and
they didn't seem to think so, and I haven't found any.

hmm.
so following the advice here, the best way to get my parking break back
is to remove the disc brake kit, and install stock rear breaks?
which will actually improve my braking performance, ( but reduce
my bragging rights. )

each little project just gets bigger.
I already have so much to do to the new car, I was hoping this
one would be as simple as getting the right parking brake cable.
