I was about to go out and drive my Fasty again and thought of something you (Jim) wrote came to mind. I've been trying to make sense of why it takes a bigger feeler gauge than specified to achieve the proper dwell, you wrote (Both methods should agree if you do them right AND the points are new). My points are NOT new, to tell you the truth the are close to two years old. Would this be the reason, I have cleaned them a few times but have not replaced them. I am also running lower octane gas so I am going to rectify that while I am @ it.
