I'll pass the details around over here too, but generally a good Type 3 will sell for much more in the UK than in the USA. £1800 (GBP) would buy a Type 3 in good running order, but probably imperfect chrome, and the usual inner fender and rust under the back seat. Not a basket case, but one needing some work to smarten it up. If it's better than that, she should comfortable get more for it over here anyway. I would guess you need to add another $1000 to $1500 for transport to the 'States. I wonder what she means by "just been taxed even though..." as it doesn't cost anything anyway at that age. Dave. It is a 68, Fastback in Cobalt blue, and I would want in the region of £1800.00 ($3400.00) but I am open to any offers, as I need the space and funds to work on my split screen bus this winter. (buyer would have to pay shipping charges). It is a nice tidy solid car, with a good exterior and a mint cream and black interior (it has the early interior with 'z' arm rests). It has just been taxed (even though it is exempt in the UK with Historical Car Status) and it has about 9 months MOT on it. Do you know of anyone in the States that would be interested?
