Could the idle just be set too low? The aux air regulator slows down the idle 
as the engine warms up. If you set the idle with the engine cold, then once it 
warms up it may die as the idle drops too low.

An idle of 800/900 is correct for MT/AT FI. This is higher than for carbed 
cars.
