Re: [T3] [T3} Carby Back fire


Sounds like something went wrong in the re-build- I wouldn't think you need
to take off the heads to fix it! It could be that the float is sticking, or
a bit of debris is sticking the needle valve open and you're getting an
overflow of fuel into the engine (way too rich) or something else is
blocked. Or it could be a timing/valve problem- did you reset the timing
too? Its almost certainly something easily fixed if you retrace your steps.
