You can pretty much put any type 3 FI system onto any type 3 engine. The only 
restriction is that all the FI parts need to "match." The D brain is a '71 
brain, which means that you need a full set of '71 FI parts. I have a '71 AT FI 
intake air distributor if you need one, but finding one down under would be 
better.

If you're planning on putting this on an engine which has the breather box with 
2 plastic plugs on top of it, then you should probably also change the breather 
box and dipstick tube, or you'll have no breather, which will lead to blowby at 
the rear of the crank.
