Did the final numbers come out in any particular agreement with the Jetta's published HP?

I couldn't say for sure. Others who have dyno'd their stock car got numbers ranging from the mid 80s to mid 90s. Stock is 115hp at the crank. My results were 82.7hp before and 87.7hp after using the Gtech. I use the Gtech (and dynometer) for before/after result testing to see if the change made a difference and I try to keep things consistent in testing and, of course, I only change one thing at a time (exception being my new chip and cam install...dyno time can get spendy).

On that note, my baby puts out 91hp at the wheels...so this makes me wonder, is $5000 for a high-performance engine *really* worth it when it only gets you +30hp? Well, it would be nice to know what a stock FI car puts down at the wheels cuz it's less than the rated 65hp (measured at the crank).
