What could this signify? >> The gear oil in the trans is getting thick (from the cooler outside temps), causing the slight forward creep. In my part of the country, about this time of year, we get this condition very often. If it stays cooler, or gets even colder, you might have to get into a habit of using the parking brake a little more often. I hope this helps.
