Re: [T3] 4 lug Fasty

<x-charset windows-1255>This may have been the situation in the US (I've no idea), but I have a
1969-model German pricelist that shows a completely different situation:

There are loads of different models, but what it boils down to is this: all
Type 3s were available with two different engines - 45HP and 54HP - and two
different trim levels, standard and L, so in other words you could get a
fastback 1600TL with a 45HP engine, and a fastback 1600T with a 54 HP
engine, and so on. All the different combinations of body, engine and trim
level were available. The fastback and notchback cost the same, while the
squareback was slightly more expensive. Fuel injection and AT was an option
only on the 54HP engine. They all cost more than most Beetles, except the
cabrio, which was slightly more expensive than the cheapest Type 3.

The only one with no engine and trim options was the Type 34, which cost
almost as much as a Type 3 and a Beetle together.
