IIRC, it looked about 2-3" taller than stock. There was just too much space above the front tires and the underside of the fender arches. My GUESS is that Keith used the stiffer squareback torsion bars in his notch, but set them at notch angles. The problem is that the factory spec setups are configured for the spec bars, but when you put stiffer bars in there, the car's weight isn't enough to push it back down where it belongs. Still, I don't think there's a cuter car out there than a shiny little red notchback. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
