Well, on this engine, the late model muffler won't work without changing
the engine tin. And regular tin won't fit the engine compartment. I
would then need the aux. heater boxes, and the elbows. There are no
small heater tubes going forward, so those would have to be blocked off.
And, since this car will probably end up being a garage queen, I figure
a new muffler now will probably last the rest of its life, or mine. Then
my son can worry about it.
Maybe I can snag one out of Jason's stock when out there for Christmas.
Bring it back as "carry on"???? ;+}
